Hi, I’m Shametress Lightfoot and I am Salisbury Elite’s Co-Founder, Vice President, Cheer Coordinator and any other title that you want to associate with this organization! 😁. I handle the daily tasks that it takes to operate Salisbury Elite. I coordinate all of the fundraisers and community service. I am the Founder of our tutoring program. In addition to the Salisbury Elite Program, I am a full time Instructional Assistant. I am married to your lovely President and Coach, Shawn Lightfoot! Together, we have 6 lovely children and 2 grandchildren. My goals for the entire organization are to keep building and making us better! My ultimate vision is to make Salisbury Elite an entire community organization where we cover every aspect of resources needed for our area. For me, it’s bigger than football and cheer! I want to see every child and family that puts their trust in us, benefit and be successful in life period! We believe in and strive to, build solid citizens, while bridging the gap and breaking the cycle of barriers that limit ones success!
My name is Crystal ( Cheer Team Mom) . I am a mother of 3 amazing girls ages 18,16, and 10. I have been a healthcare professional for 17 years. I enjoy reading, writing and being a mother. I plan to be the “safe place” for the girls to come and talk to when they are overwhelmed or having a bad day.
Hi, I’m Coach Aneyah. This is my second year coaching with the Salisbury Elite Cheerleaders. I have been a cheerleader for about 6 years. When I’m not cheering/coaching, I really like to focus on Art. I plan on bringing my open mind and creativity to the team to show the girls that’s it okay to be down or have a bad day as long you don’t stay down.
Hi! I’m Coach Kaliyah. I am currently a senior at Wicomico High school. I have been cheering/stepping for over 5 years .This is my second year coaching for the Salisbury Elite Cheer team .This year, I plan to bring my positive attitude and enthusiasm to the team! I plan on helping the girls spread their wings in the cheer world.I am very excited to work with the girls and help them not feel as “stuck “ during the pandemic.
Hi,I’m Coach Jae’Den .I’m a new coach for the Salisbury Elite Cheer Team(2021) .I graduated from Wicomico High School in 2020. I have been a cheerleader for 8 years ,from The Salvation Army Black Knights to being one of the Wicomico High Cheer Captains. I am also a Licensed Cosmetologist and planning to open my own salon soon. This year, I plan on building a strong bond with the teammates, adding excitement and confidence! This year I’m also excited to try get the girls to expand into competitions this year.I plan for the girls to learn more self love,and enthusiasm for cheer!
