On March 13th, 2023, Salisbury Elite Founder, Shawn Lightfoot and members of the Salisbury Elite Youth Football organization were honored by Mayor Heath and members of the Salisbury City Council. Players were presented with certificates for their participation in the 2019 AYF National All-Stars competition and the 2022 AYF Regional competitions. Mayor Heath presented Mr. Lightfoot with a Proclamation for his success in youth sports and deemed March 13th, “Shawn Lightfoot Day” in the city of Salisbury, Md! Congrats to all and a huge “Thank You” to the City of Salisbury!
